How does one qualify for
services?
Persons applying for service
must:

reside in Grand Prairie

provide proof of income for
the past thirty days

provide proof of residency
(lease or mortgage statement)

provide proof of
identification for all adult household members

provide social security cards
for all members of the household
When is the agency open?
We see clients from 9:00 a.m to
3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. However due to the high demand for financial assistance
we take our last sign-in at 2:00 p.m
Is an appointment necessary?
Yes. We schedule appointments
for anyone needing rent/mortgage or utility payments.
What if the person needs
food or medicine?
Persons requiring these
services may be seen on a walk-in basis.
What other services do you
provide?
We provide information
and referral. Our extensive resource network allow us to quickly refer you to
other agencies in the community that provide services we may not provide. If
we don't know, we can refer you to someone who does. Our resources cover both
Dallas and Tarrant Counties.
Does the agency provide baby
or personal hygiene items?
Yes, we do stock a limited
supply of these items.
